UNRL has a one-of-a-kind origin story that fits its unique, St.Paul, MN-based brand. It was founded by two Mankato State students, Michael Jordan and Travis Swan, who had with only $2,000 and a basement to get started. What started out as a plan to make custom T-shirts grew into a booming corporate clothing business with the help of professors, determination, ingenuity, and a lot of hard work. Professors credit Jordan’s success to his boundless curiosity and genuine love for learning more about business. Jordan’s apparel line has partnered with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the NHL, and other professional athletes.
